TRACOM’s Casey Mulqueen, Ph.D. and Dan Day discuss how to interpret and give context to a low Versatility ranking in the SOCIAL STYLE assessment. Check out their conversation and learn how to increase your Versatility through TRACOM Versatility Tips in general and Style-specific strategies.
How to Interpret Low Versatility
As you can see, we have 5 anchors to help determine our Versatility: Strongly Disagree, Disagree, Partly Agree Partly Disagree, Agree, and Strongly Agree. Within these 5 anchors, we have Low Versatility marked with “W”, Medium Versatility marked with “X/Y”, and High Versatility marked with “Z”. When we take all this data from these 5 anchors behind the scenes, we make a frequency distribution to help us understand the data. We create cut scores based on percentiles. The lowest 25% is W, the low-medium percentile (25%-50%) is X, the medium-high percentile (50%-75%) is Y, and the highest percentile (75%-100%) is Z.
