New Business Development Manager

The Tracom Group, a corporate leadership and development training company, is seeking an entrepreneurial minded, revenue focused, process based New Business Development professional to be based out of our south Denver/DTC area office.  We provide global training to improve individual and organizational performance to fortune 500 companies, universities and resellers in more than 95 countries and in over 20 languages.  We offer a compensation package with a very competitive base and strong upside commission structure along with profit-sharing opportunities and great benefits including: health, dental, PTO and an employer-matched 401(k) plan.The ideal candidate will have the confidence and expertise to interact daily with marketing qualified prospects and lead them through a multi-step buyer’s journey resulting in new business revenue.  They will bring high energy, a positive mindset and whatever-it-takes attitude with them.  Self-motivation and a desire for personal and company growth is a must.This individual will participate in a collaborative environment and be supported by all levels within our organization.  They will be tasked with implementing process driven, scalable business development strategies.  Success in this role will be measured and rewarded based on the consistent and innovative efforts of the individual to educate and guide prospects through the buying process and closing the deal.Responsibilities include:

  • Responding to inbound leads
  • Qualifying opportunities over the phone
  • Developing new client relationships
  • Providing solutions and insights for potential client needs
  • Consistently increasing product and industry knowledge
  • Delivering program demos via Zoom and/or WebEx
  • Consistent follow up on calls and emails
  • Developing internal strategies for potential client opportunities
  • Updating and maintaining Salesforce.com database of prospects/clients
  • Tracking weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance and sales metrics
  • Collaborative new sales closing calls with internal subject matter experts
  • Actively networking and prospecting via LinkedIn and industry organizations
  • Building and maintaining consistent new business opportunity pipelines
  • Finding innovative ways to penetrate new markets
  • Closing new business

Requirements:

  • Experience developing and closing new business through a consultative approach
  • Excellent listening and communication skills
  • Ability to think, act and react quickly and effectively to client’s unique requirements
  • Highly motivated for daily outreach and interaction with prospects
  • Self-motivated and self-directed
  • Willingness to quickly learn and understand our program offerings and how they apply to client needs
  • Consistent and effective daily effort
  • Willingness to work in an open, collaborative and transparent environment
  • Occasional travel up to 10%
  • Participate in training sessions, skill building and professional development classes
  • Solid organizational, time management and problem-solving skills
