Business Development Coordinator

The Tracom Group, a corporate leadership and development training company, is seeking a highly motivated, career oriented, process-based Business Development Coordinator to be based out of our south Metro/DTC area office.  Tracom provides global training to improve individual and organizational performance to fortune 500 companies, universities and resellers in more than 95 countries and in over 20 languages.  We offer a compensation package with a very competitive base and strong upside commission structure along with profit-sharing opportunities and great benefits including health, dental, PTO and an employer-matched 401(k) plan.
The ideal candidate will have the confidence and expertise to interact daily via phone and email with marketing qualified prospects.  They will bring high energy, a positive mindset and whatever-it-takes attitude to the role.  Self-motivation and a desire for personal and company growth is a must.
This individual will participate in a collaborative environment and be supported by all levels within our organization.  Success in this role will be measured and rewarded based on consistent daily effort to reach out to prospective clients and encourage them to participate in our online program showcases and/or to engage directly with our client solutions team.
Responsibilities include:

  • Responding to inbound leads
  • Daily outbound calls and appointment setting
  • Timely follow up responses via email and phone
  • Qualifying opportunities over the phone
  • Developing new client relationships
  • Consistently increasing product and industry knowledge
  • Updating and maintaining Salesforce.com database of prospects/clients
  • Tracking weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance and sales metrics
  • Actively networking and prospecting via LinkedIn and industry organizations
  • Building and maintaining consistent new business opportunity pipelines
Requirements:

  • Highly motivated for daily outreach and interaction with prospects
  • Excellent listening and communication abilities (written and oral)
  • Confidence to communicate with clients and prospects at all levels of the org chart
  • Extremely strong phone skills with ability to set and close appointments over the phone
  • Positive and professional demeanor
  • Ability to think, act and react quickly and effectively to client’s unique requirements
  • Self-motivated and self-directed
  • Willingness to quickly learn our program offerings and how they apply to client needs
  • Consistent and effective daily effort
  • Willingness to work in an open, collaborative and transparent environment
  • Participate in training sessions, skill building and professional development classes
  • Solid organizational, time management and problem-solving skills
  • Desire for personal and professional advancement
