Expressive Style people typically take on roles that do not require a lot of detailed work. It's not that they can't be responsible or accountable, but their natural inclination is for work that is big picture and broad in scope, rather than detailed. These people can sometimes develop grand goals for a team, but if the team has many Expressive Style people it runs the risk or falling short of achieving its goals due to lack of focus. These individuals are also competitive for attention and recognition, so they may seek to highlight their achievements while others are left in the background.

Exercise to reduce stress. Exercise causes the brain to release neurotransmitters called endorphins, which is the body's natural feel-good drug. You will find that you naturally set aside the day's tension. You are also likely to benefit from an improved mood, and you might even sleep more soundly. You do not have to devote hours every day to jogging and you do not have to be in great shape. Do what you want to do; this is not about becoming a marathon runner. Start out slow and do the types of exercise you enjoy most (walking up steps, gardening, weightlifting, yoga, walking at lunch) all forms of exercise have the same benefits. Find a friend to exercise with you. This will increase your chances of sticking with a regular program.⁣

When an organization is undergoing a lot of change, this can result in rampant negativity among employees and can lead to widespread cynicism across the organization. However, the Negativity Bias can be decreased by developing Resilience – research shows that people who have developed higher levels of Resilience are more engaged with their work and more committed to their organizations.

Analytical Style people respond to salespeople who are knowledgeable and thorough. They expect a good salesperson to have a high level of knowledge about their products and services, and to be able to answer all questions, or at least know how to find answers. Inevitably, these individuals want to feel secure that they have made the right choice, and salespeople who display expertise about their products can help them to feel this level of comfort. These individuals appreciate salespeople who are straightforward and who do not attempt to sale products based on emotional reactions or feelings.

When employees aren’t engaged, they are going to look for new jobs. Employees won’t settle for organizations that don’t prioritize engagement, and the consequences of not focusing on engagement are severe. Gallup reports that 51% of people are either actively searching for new jobs or watching for openings.

Many people don’t take the time to consider the things they’re good at and the things they aren’t so good at. Enhance your self-insight by writing a list of your greatest strengths and weaknesses. As you do this, keep in mind the feedback others have given you. Pay special attention to your strengths, since it is much more fruitful to improve at what you do best than it is to try and improve your weaknesses.⁣
