Syniverse, a prominent mobile communications company, has recognized the importance of resilience training as part of its broader employee wellness strategy, in response to the rapidly evolving technology landscape and intense global competition. With the acceleration of change in the business world, stress levels among employees are on the rise, impacting their productivity and overall well-being. To address these challenges, Syniverse turned to TRACOM’s “Developing a Resilient Mindset” assessments and training, as part of a comprehensive wellness program that encompasses physical health and mental well-being.
Julie Capsambelis, the mobile communications company manager of organizational development, emphasized the need for employees to cope with change and stress in a productive manner. Syniverse operates across approximately 30 countries, serving major corporations, including mobile operators, retailers, and financial services firms, operating within a rapidly evolving technological and competitive landscape. The resilience program aimed to provide employees with the skills and resources to effectively manage stress and adapt to change.
TRACOM developed a flexible training model that allowed both in-person and web-based training across multiple countries to cater to Syniverse’s global reach. A key aspect of this program is a “Virtual Coffee Break” reinforcement initiative, involving follow-up meetings hosted by Resilience Champions. These meetings aim to connect resiliency skills with the daily challenges employees face in their work-life, helping them adapt to change, develop a sense of control, enhance their job performance, and thrive in an unpredictable business environment. Capsambelis expressed her belief that this approach will help employees recognize the opportunities that come with change and foster a resilient mindset for greater success.
