Video: TIAA Uses Resilience Training to Adapt to Changing Times

Mark Saine from TIAA shares his thoughts on how to help clients work through the pandemic and the “next normal.” Managing Director of Client Leadership Solutions at TIAA, Mark Saine specializes in leadership management and professional development.

“This is a time of immense change and transition. I think a lot of people have the mindset that as soon as this is over, everything is going to go back to the way it was and we’ll be fine. I don’t think that is quite the right way to conceptualize this…I think we’ve learned a lot of new things and we’ve experienced a lot of things that’s going to change us in the future. And I think in many ways it can change us for the better.”

“Resilience training is about helping people cope with today’s situation and becoming stronger as a result of it. And beyond that, and this is what I love about the TRACOM program, there’s such a good emphasis about not just surviving. It’s about thriving.”
