Amiable Style people are sometimes hesitant to express themselves, so it is often helpful to ask them questions to get needed information or input. They prefer to be approached in a friendly way and asked open-ended questions (How can we manage this project so we meet the deadline?). This type of question allows them to give their answer as well as provide context around their response. Closed-ended questions (What is your plan to meet the deadline?) can be uncomfortable for them because these types of questions do not allow them to provide additional information that they may feel is important. These individuals are also comfortable with hypothetical questions (e.g., If we were to develop a new website, what do you feel would be the most appealing features for our customers?).
